In the early hours of Saturday, a tragic car accident claimed four lives in Northwest Miami-Dade, according to a statement by the local police.
The collision, which involved three vehicles, occurred around 12:53 a.m. at the intersection of NW 72 Avenue and NW 74 Street. Local authorities reported that a black sedan carrying three adults and one juvenile male was severely impacted during the crash. Among the casualties were two adults, a male and a female, who died at the scene due to the severity of their injuries.
Emergency services quickly responded to the incident. The Miami-Dade Fire Department transported a critically injured adult female to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital. Meanwhile, the juvenile male, also critically injured, was rapidly airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, both individuals later succumbed to their injuries.
Law enforcement officials have yet to disclose the identities of the victims as investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding this devastating event. The Miami-Dade Police Department has stated that no other injuries were reported from the accident.
