The incident began when the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department received a report at 1:50 p.m. about an armed carjacking in Laughlin, Nevada. A victim reported that multiple suspects armed with a firearm had stolen their vehicle near the 3200 block of Rio Vista Drive.
An LVMPD Air Unit located the stolen vehicle, which had fled the scene. The suspects subsequently abandoned the vehicle near Interstate 11 and Wagon Wheel Drive.
