The collision happened at the intersection of Sheridan Road and 33rd Street, according to the Zion Police Department. Investigators reported that the driver of a 2015 Ford Edge struck a pedestrian, who was later identified as 59-year-old Darren Lucas. Mr. Lucas was pronounced dead at the scene.
