A 69-year-old Bristol woman was found deceased on Sunday evening after being pinned under her own vehicle in the driveway of her residence, according to authorities. The Bristol Police Department identified the woman as Debra Martin. Officers were dispatched to her Rockwell Avenue home at approximately 8:59 p.m.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered Martin pinned face-down under the driver’s side door of her car. Emergency Medical Services personnel pronounced her deceased at the scene. Lieutenant Ulric Berube of the Bristol Police Department confirmed the fatality and stated that the department’s Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is leading the investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
