A single-vehicle rollover crash in Jackson County, Wisconsin, early Saturday morning resulted in the death of a 35-year-old woman and injuries to a 34-year-old man, according to law enforcement officials. The incident occurred at approximately 12:02 a.m. on West Blair Road near the intersection with CTH N.

The Wisconsin State Patrol and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and determined that a 2009 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck was traveling westbound when the driver lost control. The vehicle subsequently veered off the road into a ditch, struck a utility pole, and overturned.

Cortney Schultz, 35, of Black River Falls, was fatally injured in the crash. The other occupant, Casey Kersting, 34, also of Black River Falls, was transported to Black River Falls Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officials confirmed both individuals were wearing seatbelts at the time of the incident.
