The incident occurred at approximately 12:02 a.m. on West Blair Road near the intersection with CTH N.
The Wisconsin State Patrol and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and determined that a 2009 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck was traveling westbound when the driver lost control. The vehicle subsequently veered off the road into a ditch, struck a utility pole, and overturned.
Cortney Schultz, 35, of Black River Falls, was fatally injured in the crash.
