WEST BABYLON, N.Y. – A 48-year-old resident was arrested after a New York State Police raid on a West Babylon home uncovered a significant quantity of narcotics and approximately $150,000 in cash. The operation was conducted on Friday by the Troop L Community Stabilization Unit as part of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking in Suffolk County.
According to a statement from the New York State Police, authorities executed a search warrant at the residence, leading to the discovery of multiple controlled substances. The suspect was taken into custody and faces multiple charges, including the alleged sale of crack cocaine and possession of various illegal drugs and paraphernalia.
Among the items seized were 540 grams of crack cocaine, 188 grams of cocaine, and over 120 grams of heroin. The seizure also included smaller quantities of synthetic drugs such as the stimulant U-47700 and hallucinogens 2CE and 2CH. Investigators also recovered drug paraphernalia, including scales and packaging materials.
