Greenville Kidnapping Investigation Leads to Seizure of Cocaine, Weapons, and Body Armor

Authorities in Greenville, South Carolina, seized a significant cache of narcotics and firearms during an investigation into a reported kidnapping and domestic violence incident, according to local law enforcement.

The Greenville Police Department stated that officers responded to a location on Jenkins Street to investigate allegations of kidnapping and domestic violence. During the subsequent search and operation, investigators discovered a large quantity of illicit substances and weaponry. According to the police report, officers seized nearly one kilogram of powder cocaine, over three ounces of crack cocaine, and more than two pounds of marijuana.

In addition to the narcotics, law enforcement officials confiscated four firearms, two of which had previously been reported stolen. The search also yielded body armor and approximately $2,000 in cash. The suspect, whose identity has not been released to the public at this time, faces multiple felony charges. These include trafficking in cocaine, second-degree domestic violence, kidnapping, possession of stolen firearms, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and various weapons violations.
