In a recent announcement, fashion retailer Nordstrom confirmed plans to launch its latest Nordstrom Rack outlet in Lakeland, Florida, by the fall of 2025.

The upcoming store is located at Lakeside Village, a notable shopping center that has been operational since 2005. Managed by Continental Realty Corporation, Lakeside Village is also home to well-known retailers such as Kohl’s, Books-A-Million, Belk, and CMX Cinemas.

Spanning an impressive 30,000 square feet, the new location will mark the 20th Nordstrom Rack in Florida. It underscores the brand’s commitment to expanding its presence in this region. Nordstrom Rack, as the off-price division of Nordstrom Inc., offers discounts of up to 70% on a variety of products originally sold in Nordstrom stores.

“We are excited to be a part of the Lakeland community and serve our customers with an amazing offering of great brands at great prices,” said Gemma Lionello, President of Nordstrom Rack. “We look forward to expanding our footprint in the Tampa market and introducing new customers to Nordstrom Rack.”

Nordstrom Rack operates alongside its parent company, Nordstrom, which originated as a shoe store in Seattle in 1901. Today, Nordstrom has diversified its presence with 350 locations nationwide, including Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, and Nordstrom Local stores. Currently, Florida is home to six Nordstrom stores and 19 Nordstrom Rack outlets, indicating a strong market presence in the state.

The addition of a new Nordstrom Rack store in Lakeland is anticipated to enhance the shopping experience for local residents, providing access to premium brands at reduced prices. This expansion reflects Nordstrom’s strategic growth plan in Florida, promising to bring value and convenience to the community.
