United Refrigeration, a Philadelphia-based distributor of HVAC and refrigeration equipment, is relocating its operations in Fort Myers.
The company has secured a lease for a 17,235-square-foot property situated at 10898 Metro Parkway. This new location is approximately two miles away from its current base at 13080 Metro Parkway. Although the new premises match the previous one’s size, the decision to move was influenced by enhanced features that the new space offers, as per a Colliers spokesperson.
The leased space is composed of about 14,000 square feet dedicated to warehousing and 3,000 square feet earmarked for office use. The office section will include a reception area, multiple offices, a conference room, and a kitchen. United plans to undertake minor renovations with a move slated for the first quarter of the upcoming year.
Founded in 1947, United Refrigeration operates from over 400 warehouses across North America, including nine on the Gulf Coast. Its diverse clientele encompasses mechanical contractors, supermarkets, small business owners, service mechanics, and larger industrial firms.
Representing United in this transaction was Maddie Sawatzky from Colliers, while Enn Luthringer of CRE Consultants represented the landlord, Ebenhoeh U.S. Real Estate Holdings. The terms of the lease remain undisclosed.
As United Refrigeration prepares to relocate, it maintains its commitment to serving a wide range of clients with its extensive distribution network.
