In a disturbing incident that occurred on August 11 in Fort Lauderdale, authorities are on the hunt for a woman identified as Tydaijah Sade Lashone Murray, who is suspected of a hit-and-run that resulted in severe injuries to a good Samaritan.
The event unfolded on NW 6th Street when Yevhenii Arsirii, while assisting a stranded motorist whose truck had run out of gas, was struck by another vehicle from behind. This incident not only resulted in significant damage to the truck but also caused life-changing injuries to Arsirii. Following the crash, the driver exited her vehicle and left the scene.
The Fort Lauderdale Police Department quickly identified the suspect as Tydaijah Sade Lashone Murray, a 29-year-old woman. Despite having an active arrest warrant, efforts to locate her have thus far been unsuccessful. Authorities urge anyone with information on her whereabouts to reach out to Traffic Homicide Investigator Paul Williams or contact Broward County Crimestoppers.
Arsirii, who was severely injured in the crash, had to undergo an amputation of his right leg. Reflecting on the event, he shared his emotional turmoil, expressing pain, anxiety, and sadness. He also called on the driver to take responsibility for the incident’s consequences.
Aside from Arsirii’s extensive injuries, two other individuals involved suffered only minor injuries. A GoFundMe page indicates that Arsirii required additional medical care in November, highlighting the ongoing impact of the crash.
