By reducing regulatory barriers and providing financial incentives, the Act has accelerated the development of affordable housing statewide. Meanwhile, municipalities like Sarasota are pursuing housing projects that cater to public servants, reflecting a broader adoption of public-private partnerships in resolving housing shortages.
