Friend of Alexander Brothers Faces Charges in 2016 Assault Case

Ohad Fisherman, associated with the Alexander brothers, has surrendered to authorities over charges related to a 2016 assault case in Miami Beach.

Ohad Fisherman, linked to the high-profile Alexander family, has turned himself in to face charges of involvement in the alleged sexual assault of a 25-year-old woman at a New Year’s Eve party in 2016. The incident, described by Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle as a ‘gang rape,’ occurred on Miami Beach and has drawn significant attention due to the involvement of the Alexander brothers, Alon and Oren.

According to arrest warrants, the victim was initially invited by Alon to a barbecue at his apartment on Collins Avenue. However, upon her arrival, she discovered that there was no barbecue, and found herself alone with the Alexander twins and Fisherman. The victim alleges that the brothers argued over who would assault her first, with Fisherman restraining her as she was raped by the twins. Afterward, she was reportedly forced to have sex with Fisherman and then instructed to shower and not disclose the events to anyone.

Fisherman, a real estate broker born in Israel, was on his honeymoon in Japan when the charges were filed against him. His attorney arranged for his return to Miami to surrender to authorities. Upon his arrival at the Miami-Dade County Courthouse, he was accompanied by a woman, believed to be his wife. Despite the presence of media, Fisherman did not make any public statements regarding the allegations.

In court, Fisherman was granted a $25,000 bond with conditions of house arrest. The court stipulated that failure to appear for future hearings could result in his family forfeiting a sum of $260,000. Fisherman’s attorney, Jeffrey Sloman, expressed that his client is eager to resolve the matter and clear his name. Following his court appearance, Fisherman underwent standard booking procedures and was released from custody to await trial.

The case against Ohad Fisherman forms a critical part of ongoing legal proceedings involving the Alexander brothers, highlighting serious allegations of sexual assault and raising broader concerns about sexual violence. As the judicial process unfolds, the outcomes will be closely watched by many. Resources continue to be available for victims of sexual assault through national support networks.
