In a tragic incident in Northwest Jacksonville, a man in his 30s was discovered dead following an early morning shooting.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the unfortunate event occurred around 2:30 a.m. The location of the incident was a residential area on Division Street, in the Grand Park neighborhood. Officers responded to reports and found the victim lying in the driveway, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
