The Mandarin Oriental hotel chain, with 41 global locations, began its journey in Hong Kong in 1963. The Miami branch has been a key presence for 25 years but will soon make way for the ambitious One Island Drive project by Swire Properties.

The development will feature an 800-foot tower, housing ‘The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Miami,’ alongside a new 400-foot-tall hotel offering over 150 guest rooms. Notably, One Island Drive will be the first residential project to emerge on Brickell Key in 15 years. The luxury residences are set to start at $3,500,000, with construction expected to conclude by 2030.
