Georgia Walmart Employee Involved in Fatal Shooting Spree, Leaving Two Dead and One Injured, Deputies Report

An incident of violent crime has resulted in the deaths of two individuals and left another critically wounded in Newton County. The tragic events unfolded when an employee from the Walmart located on Salem Road retrieved a firearm from his vehicle around 1:30 a.m. and returned to the store. Inside, the individual fatally shot a colleague. As he exited the store, he shot another employee, who is now in critical condition.

Subsequently, the assailant proceeded to a residence on Emerson Trail, where a woman was fatally shot. Authorities successfully apprehended the suspect in Aiken, South Carolina. It has been confirmed by law enforcement that the suspect, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, was acquainted with all of the victims.
