Montgomery County Community Unites to Honor Shooting Victims’ Memories

A heartfelt tribute is set to take place as the community gathers to honor several individuals who lost their lives to homicide in Dayton. This Saturday afternoon, the Sisters of the Precious Blood will host a prayer vigil at the Seed of Life Memorial located in the Oregon District, commencing at noon.

The vigil aims to pay respects to victims of gun violence, offering prayers and support for their memories. The lives being honored include:

  • Stefon Montgomery, 17, who passed away in Dayton on March 1
  • Leslie Ross, 52, who died in Miamisburg on March 13
  • Marquia Hunter, 38, who was killed in Dayton on March 16
  • Jamie Guadagno, 26, who lost his life in Dayton on March 25
  • Michaela Carpenter, 29, who died in Dayton on March 31
  • Alfred Charles Hale III, 18, who passed in Dayton on April 4
