Police Report Highlights: Incident Between Two Dumpsters

A trespassing incident unfolded in a store parking lot when a woman, previously banned from the premises for a week, was found seated between two dumpsters. According to reports, she made herself comfortable while awaiting the arrival of officers from the Kalispell Police Department. The store employee sought an extension of the trespassing order to cover the entire season.

In another incident, a dispatcher responding to an open 911 call noted sounds resembling heavy breathing or snoring. Meanwhile, a group of teenagers allegedly breached a fenced area surrounding a vacant hotel, removing wooden panels from the windows. Two boys entered the building while another waited outside in a Toyota Tundra parked near a white Tacoma. Security personnel addressed the situation by removing the teens, deciding against requesting further police intervention.

A separate report involved a woman allegedly shoplifting alcohol from a store. She was seen leaving with her arms full of stolen goods and entering a vehicle with two other women, then driving north on U.S. 93. Officers also received multiple calls regarding a woman running along the shoulder of the U.S. 93 Bypass. Concerned individuals reported seeing a blonde woman, seemingly dressed only in socks, and another report described a woman in her 60s running toward oncoming traffic and talking to herself.

Motorcycle-related disturbances were also noted, where individuals approached two men allegedly revving their engines and performing burnouts. The witnesses reported detecting alcohol on one of the drivers’ breaths, observing the pair repeatedly leaving and returning to the location.

In another case, a woman reported the theft of $1,500 worth of air quality sampling equipment. The equipment had been secured outside a building, and she discovered the chains had been cut. Additionally, a vigilant observer identified a child riding a dirt bike suspected to be stolen. The bike, spray-painted white and red, was confirmed as stolen after the Vehicle Identification Number matched.
