Ohio Father Confesses to Murdering Teen Daughter, According to Court Documents

Recent court filings have revealed that a father has confessed to being responsible for the injury that resulted in the death of his 13-year-old daughter, Kei’Mani Latigue. She was reported missing on March 18, and her body was discovered in an abandoned building on March 24.

According to documents submitted in Toledo Municipal Court, Darnell Jones-Ogletree admitted to the authorities that he caused the fatal wound to his daughter. Additional affidavits regarding his charges indicate that Jones forcibly took Latigue to the vacant house where the tragic incident occurred.

Jones was apprehended in Columbus on March 25 after sustaining injuries from being shot by a police officer. He is currently facing charges of murder, felonious assault, and abduction. His next court appearance is scheduled for April 24.
