The investigation is underway following the fatal shooting of a man in Lowell. Police responded to a residence on Cumberland Road at approximately 11:10 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting incident. Upon arrival, officers discovered 50-year-old Tige Dyer suffering from a gunshot wound.
Dyer was swiftly taken to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The initial assessment by authorities suggests that the incident may have been isolated.
