Norfolk State University Shooting Leaves Two Injured; Police Launch Investigation

Two men sustained injuries in a shooting incident that occurred late Saturday night at Norfolk State University. The Norfolk Police Department reported receiving an emergency call around 11:30 p.m. regarding the situation on the 2200 block of Presidential Parkway. This location is situated near the L. Douglas Wilder Performing Arts Center and traverses the university’s campus.

One of the injured men was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the other man’s wounds were not deemed life-threatening.
