Notably, Nike topped the list, with Lululemon securing a solid position in apparel preferences. Among smartphones, Apple’s iPhone continues to dominate, with 87% of teens reportedly owning one.

Interestingly, the desire for Nike products, notably the retro Jordan sneakers and Nike Dunks, persists, despite the brand facing a 10% revenue decline reported in October. The teen’s interest reflects a continuous appeal of these specific styles within high school settings, as observed in Texas.

The girl’s Christmas list also revealed a resurgence of interest in Victoria’s Secret, a brand that once thrived in the 2000s but struggled to keep up with changing fashion trends. Now, products like Pink loungewear sets and Victoria’s Secret makeup bags are finding favor among her peers, marking a comeback fueled by the renewed popularity of Y2K fashion trends. This revival has been noticeable as the company’s shares have surged by 85% over the past year, partly boosted by the re-introduction of its famed fashion show.

While the typical tech-savvy teen’s interest in Apple products is expected, the girl’s reasons for wanting the new iPhone 16 were surprising. Despite not being aware of Apple’s AI features, her primary interest was in the phone’s advanced photo-editing capabilities. Approximately 30% of teens surveyed by Piper Sandler expressed plans to upgrade their iPhones, driven by these new attributes.

The Christmas list from a Gen Alpha teen not only sheds light on consistent brand favorites but also highlights unexpected trends making a comeback. As technology and fashion continue to evolve, they play significant roles in shaping the wishes and desires of younger generations.
