The Sarasota franchise will be spearheaded by a trio of entrepreneurs led by Joanne Lavery, a former anesthesia technician, along with two ER nurses who are also family members. These entrepreneurs are excited to bring Glow Sauna Studios to the Sarasota community, emphasizing the transformative health experiences offered by the studio.
The investment for launching a Glow Sauna Studio ranges from $221,175 to $374,910, but the business model is designed to be cost-effective with a high revenue potential. This is achieved by keeping the business model simple and not relying heavily on specialized labor, differentiating it from other wellness centers such as massage studios. This approach is highlighted by John Kutaci, the Chief Operating Officer, who noted the model’s lower entry costs and high revenue expectations.
Looking ahead, the Laverys plan to open three locations in the Sarasota area, starting with their top choice in Center Gate. These locations will feature 12 to 15 rooms, including multiple cabins designed for group use, which are popular as clients often bring friends. Each session, providing the array of health benefits, lasts between 30 to 45 minutes.
The founder of Glow Sauna, Josh Terzo, emphasized the growing popularity of the concept and the robust support system available for franchisees, underlining the franchise’s commitment to its expansion in the South Tampa Bay area.
