Tulum meets the Hamptons. Bishop Design helmed the design renovation of celebrity hotspot 75 Main in Southampton, NY, led by restaurateur Zach Erdem. At the core of the design work was a focus on how the customers would feel while in the space. It had to be welcoming, warm yet fresh. Bishop Design brought Tulum’s tropical vibes while blending with the coastal Southampton setting by featuring selected earthy tones, textures, and patterns. White-washed shiplap wood cladding is a key element, uniting the interior together and natural materials, from wood and rattan to plush leather textures. To top it off, the 75 Main-set reality series, Serving the Hamptons, premiered Season 2 in February 2024 on Max.

In February 2024, Bishop Design completed the 15,000 square foot PLAY Playground, a first-of-its-kind adult entertainment venue located at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas. Bishop Design challenged the digital age by stripping away the distractions of technology to reconnect people on a fundamental level, embracing fun without the constant presence of screens. At PLAY Playground, there are more than 20 hands-on games and attractions that encourage real-life interaction. The visually immersive experience draws inspiration from Alice in Wonderland, featuring rabbit holes, hidden doors, and secret passageways awash in saturated colors. Lighting is a key design element that emphasizes visually dynamic features suspended throughout the venue. The venue provides something truly unique in the Las Vegas landscape and expands the offering of what you would typically expect from “Sin City”.
Sereia (Miami – Coconut Grove)
Coconut Grove has undergone a remarkable transformation, transitioning into a dynamic dining destination. Sereia is located in the heart of the neighborhood on Main Highway, making it an exciting addition to the culinary community in Miami. The culinary venture marks the start of a partnership between two Michelin-starred Chef Henrique Sá Pessoa and Sault Hospitality, founded by Miami hospitality veterans Jourdan Binder, Sven Vogtland, and Alan Drummond. The interior decor by Bishop Design showcases refined, modern design in a light, airy, and inclusive environment, striking a delicate balance between intricacy and simplicity—a true love letter to the beauty of the sea. Cream tones grace countertops and tables, natural woods, furniture’s curves and textured elements, and rich blue and green fabrics evoke the essence of the Iberian coasts. The space intentionally avoids any sense of stuffiness, prioritizing comfort through simplicity and approachability while exuding an underlying elegance. The 125-seat restaurant features an indoor and outdoor dining room, a full bar, an omakase-style crudo bar, and a PDR for up to 12 guests, available for private events, chef-tasting experiences, and more.
