Award-winning poet and writing teacher Nadia Colburn has launched a transformative online program designed to help participants break through creative barriers and reignite their creative flow. The “Five-Day Meditation & Writing Challenge” is being offered for free and promises to integrate meditation with writing exercises to enhance creativity.

Scheduled to take place from June 12, 2025, this online challenge is accessible to writers of all levels, from novices to seasoned authors, and spans various genres. Participants will receive daily 15-minute recordings featuring a guided meditation, an inspiring poem by authors such as Lucille Clifton, Mary Oliver, and Rumi, as well as writing prompts and dedicated writing time. The flexibility of the program allows individuals to engage with the material on their own schedule, facilitating a personal and transformative creative journey.

Colburn, who holds a Ph.D. in English from Columbia University and a B.A. from Harvard, is not only a widely published author with works featured in prestigious publications like The New Yorker and The Boston Globe Magazine, but she is also a certified yoga teacher and a dedicated student of Thich Nhat Hanh. Currently, she serves as the writer-in-residence at Northeastern’s Center for Spirituality, Dialogue, and Service.

This unique program aims to foster an aligned writing practice, helping participants reclaim their voices and renew their love for the creative process. More than 30,000 writers have previously benefited from Colburn’s method. Interested individuals can join the challenge by visiting Nadia Colburn’s website to sign up and start the program the following day.
