Kristin Cavallari Opens Up About Kardashian-Jenner Drama

Kristin Cavallari is not holding back when it comes to the Kardashian-Jenner family. Recently, she took to a podcast to address past rumors involving her friendship with Kourtney Kardashian and alleged interference by Scott Disick.

Cavallari, known for her candidness, shared on the ‘Dumb Blonde’ podcast her perspective on the rumors that have surrounded her friendship with Kourtney Kardashian. It all began over a decade ago when she found herself entangled in drama, which she attributes to Scott Disick’s actions during a trip to Las Vegas accompanied by mutual friends.

Kristin revealed that during her early 20s, she was part of the same social circle as Scott and Kourtney, having dated Brody Jenner, the Kardashians’ stepbrother. “Scott and Kourtney started dating. That’s how I met Kourtney,” she clarified. Cavallari expressed admiration for Kourtney, stating, “I f–king loved Kourtney. We were really good friends.” This camaraderie, however, faced challenges when news headlines suggested a romantic link between her and Scott Disick.

The alleged incident transpired after a night out in Las Vegas, where Kristin was among friends, including Scott. She emphasized that it was purely platonic, insisting, “We were always just friends. He was devastated about Kourtney, and we all went out. We had a good time. I was never even alone with Scott.”

To her surprise, the next day tabloids reported a hookup between her and Scott. Cavallari suspected Scott might have planted the story out of a desire to incite jealousy in Kourtney, recalling a phone call with her friend: “Kourtney was really upset about it, and I remember being on the phone with Kourtney being like, ‘Kourtney, you know that that’s not true. I would never f–king touch Scott.'” Despite Kristin’s assurances, Kourtney remained uncertain, citing the importance of family loyalty.

While Kourtney and Scott eventually reconciled, their relationship finally ended in 2015. The fallout from these rumors, however, took a toll on Kristin’s relationship with the Kardashians. “Scott must have said it was true or something, because all it would have taken was for Scott to be like, ‘That’s not true,'” Cavallari shared, highlighting her frustration with the situation.

Years later, Kristin observes that she doesn’t harbor any animosity towards the Kardashians, but she did feel unnerved when Scott recently reached out to her after her public comments. “I go on my podcast and just was talking s–t about the Kardashians, like nothing in particular,” she recounted, adding how she received a message from Scott saying, ‘I miss you. We should hang out.’

Cavallari interpreted Scott’s outreach as a calculated move typical of Hollywood’s tendency to keep perceived adversaries close. “And this is what the Kardashians and a lot of people in Hollywood do is when you’re out there talking s–t, they want to shut you up. So, it’s keep your friends close and your enemies closer,” she remarked, expressing her disdain for the perceived fakery.

In reflecting on the past, Kristin Cavallari has moved beyond the drama that once strained her friendship with the Kardashian-Jenners, opting instead to voice her own truth. Her experiences serve as a reminder of the complexities within the world of fame, rumors, and relationships.
