Maserati’s 110th Birthday Bash Across the Globe

In late 2024, Maserati ignited the globe with a series of grand celebrations marking its remarkable 110-year journey.

The festivities began on November 30 in Modena, Italy, known as the birthplace of Maserati. The event, dubbed the Trident Experience, attracted notable figures such as Ettore Maserati’s grandchildren and actress Matilda De Angelis. An impressive display of 110 Maseratis, ranging from classic to contemporary models, captivated attendees. The spotlight, however, was on the unveiling of the new GranTurismo, which added a modern flair to the historic celebration.

Just days later, on December 1, the excitement traveled 6,041 miles to Tokyo, Japan. Here, an enthusiastic convoy of 110 cars navigated through the bustling streets and tranquil landscapes of Chiba, showcasing the brand’s rich history and innovation. The GT2 Stradale was revealed amidst great fanfare, solidifying Maserati’s presence in the heart of Tokyo.

The journey continued to Miami on December 5, where the spotlight shifted to stunning models like the 8CTF and Maserati MC20 MCXtrema, alongside the MC20 Cielo and Icona. The vibrant setting of Miami added to the electric atmosphere, further enhancing the global celebrations.

China was the next destination, with events spanning December 8 in Shanghai and Beijing. These gatherings were particularly special as they marked Maserati’s 20th year in China. Notably, 108 media representatives attended, reflecting the brand’s influence and popularity in the region.

The grand finale took place on December 12 in Seoul, South Korea, at the residence of the Italian Ambassador. With 160 distinguished guests in attendance, the event provided a fitting conclusion to the global festivities. Maserati’s CEO, Santo Ficili, expressed his pride in celebrating a century and a decade of automotive excellence. “Every Maserati tells a story,” he declared, highlighting the journey and evolution of the brand.

As Maserati celebrates its illustrious past, it eagerly looks to the future with plans for the MC20 Folgore and a potential new E-segment SUV. The celebrations not only honored the brand’s history but also paved the way for its next chapter, blending Italian luxury with innovative performance.
