A reward of $5,000 is being offered to assist in resolving a 2003 cold case murder. Authorities have announced that State Police are actively pursuing leads in the investigation of Caryn J. Fortino’s death. Her body was discovered on May 23, 2003, in a wooded area off Interstate 81 in Delano. Fortino, who hailed from the Philadelphia area, was determined to have died from asphyxiation and strangulation.
The last recorded contact Fortino had with her family occurred in February 2003. Information provided to PSP Tips that contributes to an arrest, the resolution of a crime or cold case, or the location of a missing person or fugitive may be eligible for a cash reward.
