Berks LaunchBox is hosting a women’s networking event titled “Female Entrepreneurs: Overcoming Challenges, Building Businesses with Success” on Wednesday, April 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. This event will take place at Berks LaunchBox, located in Suite 105 of the Goggleworks Center for the Arts in Reading. Two entrepreneurs will share their experiences, including the challenges they have faced and strategies for success. Lucine Sihelnik, President & CEO of the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance and co-founder of the Great American Creamery, will attend in person, while Haley Marie McClain Hill, founder of TORCH Warriorwear, a former NFL cheerleader and U.S. Air Force Veteran, will appear via Zoom. The Manufacturers Resource Center is presenting the “Automation and Manufacturing Technology Show” on Thursday, April 24, from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Delta Hotel by Marriott in Breinigsville. The event will focus on “Smart Manufacturing,” highlighting the latest innovations and trends in the industry. Attendees can expect networking opportunities, speakers, live demonstrations, case studies, and a panel discussion. Registration is required, with a fee of $50.

The Career Professional Executive Networking Group’s Reading and Lehigh Valley Chapters will host a “Social at Ozgood’s” on Tuesday, April 29, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. This in-person event will be held at Osgood’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar in Kutztown. On Tuesday, May 6, Berks LaunchBox will offer a workshop titled “3D Printing for Beginners” from 6 to 8 p.m. This session will be held at the Berks LaunchBox in Reading and will be conducted in both Spanish and English. Participants will explore essential terms and techniques related to 3D printing, including design, slicing, and printing processes. The workshop is free and open to the public, with registration available online.

The TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce will host a “Young Professionals Summit” on Tuesday, May 6, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Spring Hollow Golf Club in Spring City. Catering to young professionals aged 21 to 40, the event will include breakfast, networking opportunities, professional headshots, and talks by three speakers: Jay Sidhu, Navixha Bagga, and Tonya Petrunak. The workshop will highlight Brentwood Industries’ innovative approach to high school internships. The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) will hold its “Annual Dinner” on Wednesday, May 21, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Santander Arena in Reading. Magician Penn Jillette will be the keynote speaker, sharing insights from his career and performing magic. The event will also include the presentation of the Business Excellence Awards. Registration is required, with costs of $165 for members, $185 for non-members, and $50 for an arena seat that includes only the keynote address.
