Authorities have provided new information regarding a shooting incident that occurred on April 13 near Quail Lane and 9th Street in Macclenny, Florida. The Baker County Sheriff’s Office has identified six suspects connected to the incident, which resulted in one person being injured.
Charges have been filed against four individuals for attempted second-degree murder. These individuals include George Robert Jackson III, Jealene Celeste Gonzalez, Natavian O’Neal Griffin, and Keshaun Devon Griffin. Additionally, Tonda Neacole Jackson Manning and George Robert Jackson Jr. face charges related to altering, destroying, or concealing evidence. Jackson Jr. is also charged with possession of a weapon or ammunition by a felon.
As of the latest update, only Jackson Jr. and Manning are in custody. Arrest warrants remain active for the other four suspects.
A nearby doorbell camera captured both the sound of gunfire and the reactions of local residents. The video, shared with Action News Jax, illustrated the chaos that unfolded during the shooting. Eyewitnesses reported that children were present in the area at the time, highlighting the potential danger to the community. A resident expressed concern about the blatant disregard for human life exhibited during the incident.
The Baker County Sheriff’s Office urges anyone with information about the shooting or the whereabouts of the remaining suspects to contact them.
