North Lauderdale, FL – Detectives from the Broward Sheriff’s Office North Lauderdale District have released surveillance footage of two separate supermarket thefts, hoping the public can help identify the suspects involved.

In the first incident, which occurred around 9:35 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, four women entered the Publix Super Market located at 8140 W. McNab Road. According to detectives, one woman paused to take a selfie before the group proceeded to steal approximately $970 worth of baby formula. The surveillance video captures the women placing the items directly into their personal bags before leaving the store. They were last seen fleeing the scene in a dark-colored sedan.

The first suspect, who took the selfie, was dressed in all white and carried a brown paper bag. The second suspect wore a light-colored hoodie, gray pants, and slides of an unknown color, also carrying a brown paper bag. The third individual sported a black shirt, gray hoodie, yellow pants, and carried a purple handbag. The fourth suspect was dressed in an all-black outfit with white designs and was carrying a baby along with a white and black handbag. Investigators believe these women may be linked to similar crimes across Florida.

In a separate incident on Friday, April 11, around 2:24 p.m., another theft took place at the same Publix location. A woman, captured on video, exited the store with a cart brimming with unpaid items. This theft involved a different suspect, unrelated to the previous group. The woman, wearing a multi-colored headwrap, yellow tank top, light-colored jeans, and white shoes, stole various hygiene supplies including Angel Soft and Charmin bath tissue, Cottonelle wipes, Clorox products, and laundry detergents. She also took a black trash can, which detectives suspect contained additional stolen goods.

Footage shows another individual in a brown shirt and black pants assisting by obtaining empty grocery bags. The woman in yellow then transferred items into these bags, retrieved the cart, and exited the store. She was last seen getting into a gray Nissan Altima driven by another female.
