Broward Sheriff’s Office Investigates Pompano Beach Murder

Pompano Beach, FL – Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that took place early Sunday morning in Pompano Beach. The Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) Homicide and Crime Scene units are leading the investigation into the incident, which occurred at 713 N.W. Sixth Street.

The shooting was reported to Broward County Regional Communications at approximately 12:52 a.m. Responding to the call, BSO deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue arrived at the scene to find an adult male, identified as 30-year-old Ke’Tavious Walker, suffering from a gunshot wound. Walker was transported to Broward Health North, where he was later pronounced dead.

Detectives from the BSO Homicide and Crime Scene units are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the murder. At this time, no suspects have been identified.
