Fort Lauderdale, FL – A comprehensive investigation spearheaded by the Broward Sheriff’s Office Gang Investigations Task Force has led to the arrest of 10 alleged senior members of the notorious Sex, Money, Murder Blood gang. This operation, carried out with the assistance of multiple law enforcement partners, targeted a violent criminal enterprise involved in racketeering activities. The charges include conspiracy to commit homicide, directing the activities of a criminal gang, and money laundering.

Over the past three years, detectives focused on dismantling the gang’s operations, identifying two command-level members residing in Broward County. Through meticulous investigative work, authorities mapped the gang’s leadership across Florida and traced financial accounts linked to their criminal activities. The investigation revealed a slew of offenses, including illegal firearms trafficking, narcotics trafficking involving cannabis, methamphetamine, and fentanyl, as well as fraud.

A significant breakthrough in the case included the discovery of a kill list, which allowed detectives to warn potential victims, potentially saving lives. Arrest warrants were issued in March, leading to a coordinated statewide operation in April that culminated in the arrests. Simultaneous residential searches in Pembroke Pines, Lauderhill, and Hastings resulted in the seizure of additional firearms, narcotics, and gang-related paraphernalia.

The suspects, hailing from various Florida counties, face charges in Highlands County where they will be tried. The investigation remains active, and authorities are urging anyone with information on the gang or its activities to contact Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS or visit browardcrimestoppers.org.

The collaborative effort involved federal agencies, including the ATF, FBI, and U.S. Marshals Service, alongside local sheriff’s offices from Alachua, Collier, Flagler, Highlands, Polk, and St. John’s counties. The Florida Attorney General’s Office of Statewide Prosecution and the Florida Department of Corrections also played crucial roles in the operation.
