A family in Alpharetta recently played a crucial role in the rescue of a baby owl discovered on the ground. The family took swift action, placing the young owl in a basket and securing it to a tree to safeguard it from predators. They affectionately named the owl “Hootie.”
Wildlife officials monitored the situation and confirmed that the baby owl’s parents were continuing to feed it. On Saturday, a professional from a tree company intervened to assist further; the worker elevated the owl back to its nest high in a tree, facilitating its reunion with its family.
