Florida Sees Decrease in Unemployment Claims Last Week

Unemployment benefit applications in Florida decreased last week, marking a decline compared to the previous week. The U.S. Department of Labor reported that for the week ending April 12, new jobless claims—which serve as an indicator for layoffs—fell to 6,629, down from 6,692 the prior week.
