Massive Crowds and Even Bigger Fun Anticipated at Fort Lauderdale Beach for the Tortuga Music Festival

The highly anticipated 12th annual Tortuga Music Festival is set to commence this Friday, offering a vibrant musical experience along the scenic Fort Lauderdale Beach. Featuring renowned artists such as Keith Urban, Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, and Shaboozey, the festival spans the weekend with engaging performances aimed at raising awareness about ocean conservation. With an expected attendance of over 100,000 music enthusiasts, the festival promises an exciting three-day event.

Located at 1100 Seabreeze Boulevard, the festival will operate daily from 12 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The city of Fort Lauderdale has issued a traffic advisory due to anticipated congestion in the area. Motorists should prepare for delays on barrier island roadways, particularly A1A and Seabreeze Boulevard. Southeast 17th Street and Las Olas Boulevard are also expected to experience increased traffic. Notably, there will be a temporary road closure affecting both northbound and southbound traffic from Harbor Drive to SE 5th Street every night from 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. to facilitate the safe exit of festival attendees. During this period, traffic south of East Las Olas Boulevard will be directed northbound on A1A or westbound via the East Las Olas Boulevard bridge.

Festival attendees are advised that there is no designated parking available for the event. Instead, the city encourages the use of rideshare services or the Water Taxi for transportation. Designated pick-up and drop-off points include Las Olas Oceanside Park at 3000 E. Las Olas Boulevard and the Harbor Drive loop.
