A woman has been arrested in connection with a fatal double shooting that occurred on Friday morning. Authorities in Miami Gardens have charged Shaneeka Harris, aged 39, with second-degree murder in the death of her boyfriend.
The incident was reported to police at 6:38 a.m., taking place in the 4600 block of Northwest 193rd Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered two males suffering from gunshot wounds. Harris’ boyfriend was transported to a nearby trauma center, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The identity of the deceased has not yet been disclosed by authorities.
Harris was taken into custody and booked at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center late Friday evening, just before 11 p.m. She was expected to make a court appearance for a bond hearing on Saturday morning.
