A motorcyclist sustained severe injuries in a collision on Kendall Drive in the southwestern region of Miami-Dade on Friday afternoon. The incident occurred shortly after 12:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Southwest 125th Avenue. Authorities from the Florida Highway Patrol reported that the motorcyclist collided with the rear of a pickup truck that was halted at a traffic light. Following the accident, the injured motorcyclist was transported to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital with critical injuries. As a result of the crash, several eastbound lanes on Kendall Drive were temporarily closed.
