Police Receive Premonition Report from Local Man

Concerns were raised to the Kalispell Police Department about potential reckless driving involving teenagers in a Mustang, Corvette, and Hellcat. The caller, who described having a premonition about the vehicles engaging in drag racing, sought to alert authorities in advance, despite uncertainty about the actual behavior of the cars. Officers later discovered the vehicles parked at a local bar and grill.

In a separate incident, a man at a city park was accused of encouraging his German shepherd to attack squirrels. When approached, he clarified that he was attempting to encourage the squirrel to return to its tree to prevent his dog from pursuing it. He also expressed his fondness for visiting the park during less crowded times and engaging with wildlife. Police informed him that city regulations require dogs to be leashed in public parks.

Additionally, officers informed a pedestrian about a city ordinance prohibiting the feeding of ducks and geese in city parks to prevent aggressive behavior in the birds. Meanwhile, a man suspected his wife was intoxicated when she arrived to pick up their child.

Damage to a store parking lot was reported after a man allegedly kicked over a trash can while pushing a shopping cart containing a backpack. In another case, a woman expressed fear for her safety after receiving online threats that implied harm. Despite her efforts to report these threats to authorities in the man’s town, she felt her concerns were not adequately addressed. Kalispell Police advised her on the process of obtaining a temporary restraining order and recommended avoiding further online interactions with the individual.

Emergency services, including an ambulance and the police, responded to an incident where a certified nursing assistant was reportedly assaulted.
