Authorities report that the suspect, identified as Caleb James Carter from Miami, approached the woman and her 3-year-old child. As he came within close proximity, Carter allegedly adjusted his clothing to expose himself while maintaining eye contact with the woman. Startled by the encounter, the woman quickly fled with her daughter, with Carter reportedly trailing behind them alongside a dog.

However, further statements from Carter were not disclosed in the publicly released report.

Carter, who is currently without a permanent residence, faces charges including aggravated stalking, lewd and lascivious exhibition on a child under 16, and indecent exposure. At present, he remains at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center with a bond set at $21,000.
