Power Outages Affect Thousands of West Penn Power Customers Following Storm Surge

Severe storms have resulted in significant power outages, leaving thousands without electricity. In Pennsylvania, West Penn Power reported that 14,051 of its customers experienced power loss on Saturday.

Within the local area, Fayette County was notably affected, with 3,993 households experiencing outages as of 9:45 p.m. Additionally, Greene County had 773 affected customers, while Westmoreland County reported 494 power outages.

Conversely, Duquesne Light Company confirmed there were no power outages reported in its service areas.
