Reward Announced for Information on Severely Abused Dog ‘Bibi’ in Lauderdale Lakes

A South Florida animal rescue organization is actively seeking information in a severe animal abuse case involving a female black Giant Schnauzer named Bibi. A $10,000 reward is being offered for details that lead to an arrest. The Broward County Animal Care and Adoption Division discovered Bibi in the 4500 block of Northwest 36th Street in Lauderdale Lakes and brought her to Big Dog Ranch Rescue on April 3.

Bibi was found to be in an emaciated state, suffering from multiple injuries such as broken ribs, and damage to her spine and hips. Her extreme malnourishment has left her unable to stand or walk without assistance. Big Dog Ranch Rescue is collaborating with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to identify the perpetrator. They have launched a “Justice for Bibi” campaign to ensure the responsible party is apprehended and prevented from harming other animals.

Founded in 2008, Big Dog Ranch Rescue has saved over 75,000 dogs, aiming to heal them and place them in loving homes. The organization is committed to educating the public about proper dog care and the significance of spaying and neutering. Their mission focuses on rescue, rehabilitation, and education to combat dog homelessness and abuse.

Individuals with information related to this case are encouraged to contact Big Dog Ranch Rescue at 561-791-6465 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477. More details about their mission can be found at bdrr.org.
