After a 911 call abruptly disconnected, a follow-up revealed a man had unintentionally contacted emergency services while attempting to use his phone’s digital assistant to seek app assistance. Meanwhile, officers of the Kalispell Police Department responded to a store manager’s request to address a 20-year-old lingering in a restroom near a pharmacy. Despite leaving the restroom area, the individual protested outside the store, threatening to “call corporate to complain.” The officers informed the manager that they could intervene further if the store decided to file trespassing charges.

In another incident, a man clad in checkered pants and headphones, previously expelled from a store, returned to film an employee. He departed after being approached, with warnings of a trespassing citation if he returned. Elsewhere, a woman was startled during lunch in her van when her vehicle was allegedly struck by a silver Toyota Tacoma, which then left the scene without stopping.

Additionally, a woman contacted the police alleging serious accusations involving a person wanted overseas. She claimed this individual had assaulted her son, caused the death of her nephew in a hit-and-run, and was responsible for her mother’s death in another state. However, the police officer’s attempts to reach her by phone were unsuccessful as no voicemail option was available.

Local residents reported recurring issues with a German Shepherd and a black dog roaming freely through their neighborhood. In a separate incident, three teenagers were reportedly seen at a park causing a disturbance by shouting profanities and attempting to damage playground equipment. Officers counseled the teens on their behavior, finding no evidence of any damage.

Concern arose when a pedestrian signaled a police officer about a container left near a bench, fearing it might contain controlled substances accessible to children. The label, however, indicated contents of ginseng and royal jelly in various small bottles.

Another report involved a man’s belief that hackers were monitoring his computer and phone conversations, prompting him to seek police assistance. Meanwhile, concerns were raised about two dogs panting inside a parked Silver Subaru with steamed-up windows. The situation resolved when the owner returned and released the dogs while on a phone call.
