Tragic Osceola County Accident Leaves Vehicle Submerged in Lake

In a tragic incident, a car crash in Florida resulted in a vehicle becoming submerged in a lake near the Celebration Town Center. The accident occurred at approximately 3:37 p.m. on Bloom Street, according to information released by the Florida Highway Patrol.

Initial findings indicate that the accident involved a Chrysler Pacifica, which was initially parked in a designated spot on Bloom Street. As the driver attempted to reverse out of the parking space, the vehicle unexpectedly moved forward. The driver subsequently lost control, causing the car to swerve off the road, hit a curb and a fence, and eventually plunge into the lake.

A dive team was dispatched to the scene and successfully located the submerged vehicle. Unfortunately, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. In response to the incident, a roadblock has been set up affecting both directions on Bloom Street as the investigation continues.
