In the early hours of the morning, a shooting incident resulted in injuries to two men in the Pittsburgh neighborhood of Perry South. Public Safety officials reported that police officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Perrysville Avenue following a two-round ShotSpotter alert that was triggered at approximately 5:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two men outside a residence, both having sustained gunshot wounds. One individual was injured in the arm, while the other suffered wounds to both the arm and chest. They were promptly transported to local hospitals and are reported to be in stable condition.
Authorities have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting, which is still in progress.
