Fort Lauderdale Police are actively investigating a stabbing incident involving an Amazon delivery driver.
Authorities report that the attack occurred shortly after 7:30 p.m. on a Saturday evening. The location of the incident was the 1100 block of NW 10th Terrace in Fort Lauderdale.
Reports indicate that the Amazon delivery van had experienced a mechanical issue, leaving it disabled on the road. During this vulnerable situation, an unknown individual approached the driver and subsequently stabbed them.
The seriousness of the driver’s injuries necessitated immediate medical intervention. Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue responded promptly and transported the victim to Broward Health Medical Center where they are receiving treatment.
As of now, the police have not disclosed the identity or the current condition of the driver. The investigation is ongoing, with no suspects identified or apprehended at this stage.
