Investigators determined that a construction worker was performing duties when a hooded male suspect brandished a firearm and demanded cash. Authorities confirmed the victim complied with the demands, and the suspect subsequently fled the immediate area.

Following the initial incident, police stated the suspect proceeded to 807 Proctor St. NW. At this location, the suspect allegedly threatened seven lawn care workers with a gun in an attempted robbery. Police indicated the attempt was unsuccessful, and the suspect fled the scene on foot. Surveillance footage reviewed by investigators captured the individual scaling fences in the area during his escape.
