Authorities in Pennsylvania have officially released the names of the three individuals who were killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Monday in Henry Clay Township. The Fayette County Coroner’s Office identified the victims on Wednesday following notification of their families.
The deceased were identified as Delroy Henry, 66, of Hollywood, Florida; Nikki Jo Rugg, 31, of Markleysburg, Pennsylvania; and Michael Brown, 34, of Martinsburg, West Virginia. According to Coroner Dr. Bob Baker, Henry was the operator of the tractor-trailer, Rugg was driving the pickup truck, and Brown was a passenger in a van involved in the incident.
The crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Monday along State Route 40. Preliminary investigations by the Pennsylvania State Police indicate that the tractor-trailer, driven by Henry, crossed into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with the pickup truck. The impact subsequently caused the pickup to strike the van.
In addition to the three fatalities, state police reported that five other individuals sustained injuries in the collision. The current conditions of the injured have not been disclosed to the public. The roadway was closed for several hours as emergency crews and investigators worked at the scene.

Reconstruction specialists with the Pennsylvania State Police are continuing their investigation to determine the definitive cause of the crash.
