The discovery was made by the Harris County Precinct 5 Constable’s Office and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office in the 18500 block of W. Windhaven Terrace Trail.
According to the Constable’s Office, deputies responded to reports of an overturned vehicle in the water just before 4 p.m. Upon arrival, responding officers observed the wheels of the vehicle protruding from the surface of the pond. Investigators determined that the incident likely occurred earlier in the morning hours.
A dive team from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office was deployed to the scene, where they identified tire tracks leading into the water and noted significant damage to a nearby pier.
