Leager was discovered in a semi-conscious state inside his bronze 2011 Ford F-150, parked in his routine spot on the farm where he worked part-time following his retirement from the Delaware Department of Transportation.
Medical examiners determined that Leager had suffered a significant blow to the back of the head. Jeff Leager, the victim’s brother, stated that medical personnel compared the impact force to a fall from five stories.
