This distressing scene was encountered by Lori Baer around 5 a.m. Baer, shocked by the sight, noted that the dog must have been there for several hours, having been left alone after a night of incessant fireworks.
Taking immediate action, Baer collaborated with neighbors and the Hollywood Police to rescue the abandoned dog. Throughout Wednesday, the dog was given refuge in Baer’s backyard, surrounded by food, water, and comfort, while efforts to locate its owner or a new home were underway.
